The Code of Ethics is a detailed document that spells out the professional responsibilities of every Realtor. The Articles exercise legal, disciplinary, and power among three major divisions: Clients and customers, Public and other Realtors. Like the justice system, enforcement of the NAR standards of practice unfolds at a local level first. In the case of New Jersey, it is often administered by the New Jersey Real Estate Commission. Hence, this course will contextualize the Code of Ethics in the New Jersey setting, and provide studies, examples and information that will embody the credible Realtor.
